Configuring a Project Environment#
Every Model is associated with a Project Environment. The Environment defines the Snowflake Role and Warehouse used when deploying the Model and designates the environment used when users work with Models directly in the Workbench.
Models cannot be deployed without a Project Environment configured.
Setting the Environment on a Project#
You can associate an Environment with a Project at creation time or at any point before creating your first Model.
- In the New Project dialog, select Project Environment and select or create an Environment.
- In the workbench, select the Project Badge, navigate to Jobs and select or create an Environment.
.
If no Environment is configured when you attempt to create your first Model, Datameer will prompt you to select one before proceeding.
.
For information on creating and managing Environments, see Managing Job Environments.
